Abstract : Urea sprays at 2% or 4% increased the length of terminal shoots on mango cv. Dashehari and the number of leaves they bore. Similar results were obtained by treatment with 20 or 40 p.p.m. NAA or 2,4,5-T and with 20 p.p.m. GA, and urea X growth substance interactions were significant. All responses were more marked in the off year of biennial bearing.
