Abstract : Good yields were obtained from normally unproductive mango trees suffering from floral malformation by spraying with 200 p.p.m. NAA (to increase the percentage of perfect flowers) and deblossoming at the bud-burst stage (December/January) to induce the emergence of axillary flower buds at a later date when temperatures were higher. Yields of 20-year-old trees were raised by these combined treatments from 68 to 383 fruits/tree in the cv. Dashehari and 349 to 463 fruits/tree in the cv. Chausa.
