Screening of mango cultivars for susceptibility to Colletotrichum gloeosporioides during different seasons.

Abstract : Twenty mango cultivars and selections were screened for resistance to C. gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] in Himachal Pradesh, India. The number of spots/leaf 25 days after inoculation with the pathogen are tabulated. None of the genotypes were resistant to the pathogen, and Amrapali, Totapari, Lala Da Amb, Safeda and Mallika were highly susceptible.
