Abstract : As a result of studies on the storage of sub-tropical and tropical fruit optimal storage temperatures and RH are tabulated with approximate recommended storage periods (in brackets) for various crops, including: avocado (2-3 weeks), bananas (2-3 weeks), mango (2-3 weeks) pineapple (2-4 weeks), pawpaws (2-3 weeks), peach (2 weeks), grapes (2-2.5 months), oranges (6 weeks) and grapefruit (6 weeks).
