Abstract : Field trials were conducted at the northern dry zone-3 of Karnataka, India, during 1994-95 and 1995-96 to test the efficacy of triadimefon at 0.05 and 0.1% for the control of powdery mildew (Oidium mangiferae) of mango. Wettable sulfur at 0.3% was used as a check and the compatibility with monocrotophos for the control of hoppers was also tested. The results from both seasons clearly indicate that triadimefon 0.1% gave significantly greater disease control followed by triadimefon 0.05% and then wettable sulfur. The compatibility of monocrotophos with triadimefon was confirmed.
