Abstract : O. mangiferae, the incitant of powdery mildew of mango, perpetuated on the malformed/off-season panicles as well as intact mildewed leaves as dormant mycelium which sporulate during March. Cleistocarps were not formed. The average maximum and minimum temperature ranges were 25.5-30.2°C and 10.6-16.8°, respectively; mean maximum and minimum relative humidity ranged from 75.0-91.6% and 25.6-60.3%, respectively, and daily sunshine hours, varying from 5.0 to 12.2, were the most congenial for rapid mildew progression on the panicles as well as under natural conditions.
