Abstract : Amritodus atkinsoni and Idioscopus clypealis were studied on mangoes in the field in Jorhat, India, during 1995-96. The population was maximum during March-April and minimum during December-January. The highest population density coincided with the peak blossoming period of mango trees, while the lowest population density with the hibernating period of the pest.
