Lepidopteran pest complex on mango inflorescence.

Abstract : A survey of the species of Lepidoptera occurring on mango was carried out in Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka during December and March 1997/99. Six species were collected, 3 of which were identified as Eucrostus sp., Argyroploce aprobola [Dudua aprobola] and Euproctis fraterna. Damage by the larvae resulted in 20-40% flower drop.
