Abstract : Leaf analyses for N, P, K, Na, Ca and Mg for guava, mango, Phyllanthus emblica and Ziziphus jujuba grown on normal (pH 7.2 - 7.7) and alkaline (pH 8.3 - 9.8) soils showed that leaf contents of N and P were the most influenced by soil pH. The capacity for nutrient assimilation in alkaline soil was adversely affected most in Phyllanthus and least in Ziziphus.
