Abstract : A study to examine the intensity and varietal susceptibility of floral malformation was carried out. Findings revealed that different germplasm lines had varying degrees of incidence of floral malformation. The greatest light and heavy types of malformation was recorded in Baramasia (Ranchi). However, increased incidence of the moderate type of malformation was found in Ahra Baramasia whereas the least incidence was recorded in Rataul. Forty-two mango germplasm lines were examined and none were found to be free from floral malformation.
