Abstract : Dorylus orientalis Westw., which is known as a pest of potato, mustard, coconut seedlings and other plants in India, was found for the first time infesting partly ripe fruits of a dwarf variety of mango in New Delhi, during a survey of mango orchards in 1970-71.
