Abstract : Mangoes cv. Tommy Atkins grown in Mossoró-Assu, Rio Grande do Norte, Brazil, in 1997 were sprayed with 1 or 2% CaCl2 2, 3 or 4 times at 15 day intervals from 35 days post-anthesis. CaCl2 concentration did not affect fruit quality, but the number of applications affected the contents of total soluble sugars.
