Abstract : The genus Taspinus Chandrapatya, 1991, is synonymized with the genus Spinacus Keifer, 1979. Spinacus pagonis (= T. mangiferus Chandrapatya, host plant mango) from Brazil and Thailand is redescribed and its male is described for the first time.
