Abstract : The level of infestation by Rhynchaenus mangiferae was recorded on 5 varieties of mango in Tamil Nadu, India, in September-October 1999. Greatest infestation was recorded on Peter (95.2%), followed by Rumani (91.6%), Malgoa (62.3%), Bangalora (46.6%) and Neelum (39.4%).
