Abstract : Of 18 mango varieties studied for a 10 years, 5 produced more than half their total crop during the off-season (from October to January instead of from May to August) and a further 5 produced from one-third to one-half of their total crop at this time. In more detailed studies on 10 varieties there were major differences in cropping between individual trees.
