Abstract : The biology of mango leafhopper [Cicadellidae] was studied in Hainan, China. There were 8-10 generations/year and young leaves and shoots of mangos were attacked, causing deformation. High temperatures (18-28°C) and humidity (more than 95%) favoured this pest. Spraying with 20% Etropholan or Tamaron 3 times at 7-day intervals gave control.
