Abstract : The temperature during the mango flowering period, from December to April in Youjiang River valley usually adversely affected pollination, so the fruit set was usually low. Reasonable pruning after fruit harvest, and reasonable fertilizer application promoted autumn shoot growth in early September till early October. Spraying 2-3 times with 1000×10-6-2000×10-6 solution of PP333 [paclobutrazol] from early December till late January could delay flowering by 7-10 days.
