Abstract : Production, domestic prices and seasonal variations are discussed. Prices are highest between November to January. Even in Cebu where there is year-round production prices tend to follow the national trend. Projections are made of supply and demand. Japan is the major export market, but has placed a ban on Philippine mangoes because of infestation with fruitflies. Local marketing needs to be improved. Only inadequate price data are available.
