Abstract : The effect of P-soil application (0, 25, 50 and 100 ppm), alone or in combination with Zn either as soil application (0, 5, 10 and 20 ppm) or as foliar application (0.0, 0.125, 0.25 and 0.50%), on the growth of 6-month-old mango seedlings was investigated in a greenhouse. Generally, all growth parameters considered, i.e. number of leaves per plant, plant height, stem thickness, dry weight of leaves, stem and root per plant, and total plant dry weight, were significantly affected by the fertilizer treatments. The highest values for the different growth parameters were obtained from treatment with P at 100 ppm, applied together with 20 ppm Zn as soil application or 0.50% Zn as foliar application.
