Mango: high planting density. Phenology and degree-days.

Abstract : An experiment was conducted to characterize the phenology of mango and to calculate the heat sums under a system of high density population to evaluate the relationship between mango phenology and environment in Maracay, Venezuela. Comparison of cultivars showed a difference in the pattern of phenological phases. Pruning + paclobutrazol treatment modified the phenology of the cultivars.
