Abstract : The effect of single or combined application of boron (0.05% as boric acid), copper (0.05% as copper sulfate), sulfur (0.1%) and NAA (at 100 ppm) on alleviating inflorescence malformation and improving yield and fruit quality of mango cultivars Taimour and Mabrouka was investigated in Egypt, during 1999-2000 and 2000-01. Single or combined applications of boron, copper, sulfur and NAA were effective in alleviating inflorescence malformation, and improving yield and physical and chemical characteristics of the cultivars. NAA was the most effective among the treatments in reducing inflorescence malformation and improving productivity.
