Character association study in pickle type mangoes (Mangifera indica L.).

Abstract : Nineteen pickle-type mango seedlings were evaluated in Ranchi, Bihar, India, during 2 consecutive years (1997 and 1999). All fruit traits studied were highly and positively correlated. Stone weight was significantly and positively correlated with fruit weight. The highest correlation was observed for pericarp weight and fruit weight.
