Abstract : Studies on the biology of mango leaf webber, O. exvinacea under laboratory conditions (27±2°C) indicated that incubation period lasted for 3.75 days. The mean duration of larval, prepupal, and pupal stages lasted for 34.09, 3.00 and 14.22 days, respectively. The entire life cycle was completed in 53.36 to 62.7 days during October-November. During June-July the mean duration of larval, prepupal, and pupal stages lasted for 20.97, 2.5 and 13.5 days, respectively. The longevity of the female moth was more (3.59 ±0.30 days) than the male (2.52±0.30 days).
