New chemicals for the control of powdery mildew of mango.

Abstract : The following chemicals applied 5-6 times starting in early March (before flowering) gave good control of Oidium mangiferae on the mango cv. Taymoor: Mil-Col [drazoxolon] at 0.3%, Cercobin methyl 70% [thiophanate-methyl] at 0.1%, Cercobin W. 50% [thiophanate] at 0.2%, Crotothane Liq. [dinocap] at 0.05%, Saprol [triforine] at 0.15%, Karathane L.C. [dinocap] at 0.05%, Benlate [benomyl] at 0.1% and Imugan [chloraniformethan] at 0.05%.
