Abstract : An experiment was carried out in West Bengal, India during 1999-2000 to evaluate the effect of inorganic fertilizers (N, P, and K) on flowering, fruit growth, yield and fruit quality of mango Cv. Amrapali. The highest hermaphrodite/male flower ratio was recorded by applying 50 g N and 100 g each of P and K per plant per year. Application of 100 g each of N, P, and K per plant per year markedly increased the number of fruits/plant, yield, pulp content and also improved fruit quality.
