Abstract : An unspecified bacterial storage rot of Bangalora and Neelum mangoes is described; its incidence was increased by the use of polythene film packaging. In dipping tests with 8 antibiotics some protection was given by 250 p.p.m. of tetracycline, oxytetracycline or chloramphenicol.
