Abstract : An experiment was conducted to standardize the methods of epicotyl grafting of mango under coloured polyhouse conditions. There were 16 treatment combinations consisting of 4 colours of polyhouse, i.e. control (open condition), white, red and blue, and 4 methods of epicotyl grafting, i.e. wedge, veneer, side and whip. The best performance of grafts in terms of vigour and survival was found under red polyhouse compared to the control, white and blue polyhouse. In case of methods of epicotyl grafting, the side grafting was found better than wedge, veneer and whip method for quick raising of mango grafts under central and north Indian conditions.
