Chemical control of powdery mildew of mango.

Abstract : The efficacy of Anvil 5 SC [hexaconazole], Spotless 12.5 WP [diniconazole], Bayleton 25 WP [triadimefon], benomyl 50 WP, Score 250 EC [difenoconazole] and Folicur WG 25 [tebuconazole] in controlling Oidium mangiferae causing powdery mildew in mango cv. Dusehri was evaluated in Faisalabad, Pakistan during 1999-2000. All the treatments resulted in lower disease incidence and higher disease control during both years compared to the control, with Anvil 5 SC, Spotless 12.5 WP and Bayleton 25 WP treatment resulting in the lowest disease incidence and highest disease control.
