Note on control of mango malformation.

Abstract : The mango bud mite (Aceria mangiferae) is thought to be associated with panicle malformation. In 2 trials the intensity of malformation was significantly reduced by the following treatments, in decreasing order of effectiveness: phosphamidon 0.3%, parathion 0.1%, thiometon 0.1%, methyl-demeton 0.1%, wettable sulphur 0.25%, and pruning of infested shoots.
