Abstract : Foliar-applied urea increased the length of the terminal shoots in the cvs Langra and Chausa, the number of leaves/shoot, leaf area/shoot and leaf N and water contents. The highest urea concentration, 6.0%, was most effective but caused slight leaf burning. The 4.0% rate is therefore recommended.
