Abstract : This paper provides a list of the most common lepidopteran pests of mango in West Bengal, India. Brief descriptions of the morphology and feeding behaviour of each of the 6 species listed, i.e. Typanophora semihyalina [? Trypanophora semihyalina], Parasa lepida, Orthaga exvinacea, Penicillaria jocosatrix, Boarmia acaciaria [? Hypomecis acaciaria] and Chlumetia transversa, are given.
