Abstract : Benomyl at 1.121 kg/ha (50% a.i.) or maneb at 1.681 kg/ha (80% a.i.) were compared alone and in combination with the surfactants Nu-Film 17 at 125 ml/100 litres or Triton-1956 at 15.6 ml/100 litres for control of Colletrotrichum gloeosporioides [Glomerella cingulata] on Irwin mango. All treatments alone or in combination with the surfactants gave good disease control. Benomyl + Nu-Film 17 or benomyl alternated with maneb + Nu-Film 17 or + Triton B-1956 provided significantly higher percentages of disease-free fruit and lower percentages of fruits with mild or severe anthracnose than benomyl alone or benomyl + Triton B-1956. No fungicidal treatment significantly affected total yield.
