Control of fungal spoilage in Alphonso mangoes by pre-harvest application of fungicides.

Abstract : The post-harvest fungal spoilage of mangoes was reduced from 27% to 9% in fruit from trees which had received 0.5% captan sprays during flowering. Yields and fruit quality were improved, and fungicidal residue was within the permissible limit.
