Experiment of rootstock for Zihuamang mango variety.

Abstract : Cv. Zihuamang was grafted on 3 rootstocks and effects on growth, production and fruit quality were observed and evaluated. Both the survival percentage of rootstock Hainanmang and Vietnammang reached 100%, but all had the 'big foot' phenomenon. With regard to fruit quality, Vietnammang was best. Zihuamang fruits on rootstock Hainanmang were 12 g larger than those grafted on Vietnammang rootstock.
