Abstract : A total of 75 mango ecotypes were identified, characterized and grouped based on the selection criteria, fibre content, in a field experiment conducted in Eastern Hararghe, Ethiopia during 1997-98. Tabulated data are presented on the tree height, crown diameter volume, bearing tendency, number of fruits per tree, skin and pulp colour, fibre, total soluble solids, pulp and stone weight, and pulp:stone weight ratio of 57 fibrous and slightly fibrous mango ecotypes.
