Salt tolerance of mango. A note on phosphorus and magnesium deficiency caused by sodium sulphate.

Abstract : Mango was sown in pots filled with artificially salinized soil containing NaCl, Na2SO4 (2-10 mmhos/cm) or a mixture of the two. After 5 months the leaves were analysed for nutrients. Data on P and Mg contents in the leaves are tabulated and P and Mg deficiency symptoms are described.
