Abstract : White powdery mildew [Oidium mangiferae] is an important disease for the mango industry in China. It attacks the flower cluster, young leaves and young fruit, reducing production 20-30%. Different fungicides, including 15% Amiral [triadimefon], 70% M-Topsin [thiophanate-methyl], 80% Duofuxin (produced in China) and Xiufenqing wettable powder (produced in China) were tested for white powdery mildew control. The best control was achieved using a 600× solution of 15% Amiral wettable powder. After spraying for 3 days, 100% control was provided and after spraying for 10 days, control still reached 91.7%.
