Abstract : A review with tabulated data on the comparative storage life under normal refrigerated or hypobaric conditions of ripe fully mature fruits of pineapple, strawberry and sweet cherry, unripe fully mature fruits of tomato, banana, avocado, lime, apple, mango and pawpaw, various vegetables including mushroom, cut flowers of carnation, chrysanthemum and rose, unrooted chrysanthemum and carnation cuttings and rooted chrysanthemum cuttings.
