Abstract : The symptoms and signs of mango dieback and gummosis (caused by L. theobromae, syn. Botryodiplodia theobromae) in Sindh, Pakistan are described. Details of the taxonomy, host range, geographical distribution, colony morphology and cultural characteristics, and pathogenicity are given.
