Abstract : In 3-year studies in mango nurseries, C. transversa was most active from August to October, during which period up to 36% of shoots were damaged. Three sprays of endosulfan at 200 g/ha, applied at 30-day intervals, reduced shoot infestation to about 8%. Removal and destruction of infested shoots before each spray further reduced pest incidence.
