Abstract : This paper focuses on the mango industry in Brazil, its history, the cultivars bred, and describes the main cultural practices adopted (for propagation, planting, spacing and pruning, nutrient requirements, irrigation and fertigation, pests and disease and their control and floral induction). Brief discussions are presented on the mango integrated production, harvest, postharvest systems, storage and processing, market and exportation.
