Abstract : This paper provides an overview of the biotechnological tools for the genetic manipulation of mango. Emphasis is given to cell and tissue culture (organogenesis, somatic embryogenesis and protoplast culture), germplasm conservation, genetic transformation, mutation induction and selection.
