Abstract : Farmers training on biological control issues of the citrus leafminer was performed, and agroecosystems based upon grapefruit located in Tolome and Tierra Colorada communities, municipality of Paso de Ovejas, Veracruz, Mexico, were characterized. Local agroecosystems were composed by several commodities. Grapefruit variety River red was the main one, followed by pasture grasses, sugar cane, mango, annual crops, lime and non cultivated areas.
