Abstract : A serious outbreak of the disease, caused by P. glomerata, was observed around Malihabad, Kakori. Symptoms are noticeable only on old leaves and include irregular brown to cinnamon spots, later having dark margins and dull grey necrotic centres. Severe infection results in withering and defoliation of infected leaves.
