Response of mango cultivars to epicotyl grafting.

Abstract : Experiments with the mango cultivars Langra, Dashehari, Amrapali and Malika, conducted at Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, indicated the possibility of adopting epicotyl grafting on a commercial scale with high survival percentage. At 6 months after grafting, Dashehari showed vigorous nature and recorded the highest values for scion length and height of new graft, while Malika recorded the highest scion girth compared with the other cultivars.
