Abstract : Fruit fly samples from cucurbitaceous fruits (gourds, cucumbers, marrows and cantaloupes) and garden fruits (mangoes, peaches, oranges, apricots and guavas) were obtained from infested fields in Giza, Sharkiy, Kalubiya, Fyoum, Ismailiya and Aswan, Egypt. Immature stages were reared under laboratory conditions for parasitoid emergence. The recovered parasitoid species belonged to Pteromalidae (Pachycrepoideus vindemmiae, Spalangia gemina and S. cameroni) and Chalcididae (Dirhinoides wohlfartia [Dirhinus wohlfahrtiae], Dirhinus graffic and Dirhinus luzonsis). P. vindemmiae was previously recorded as a parasitoid of Musca domestica and Ceratitis capitata. S. gemina was previously recorded as a pupal parasitoid of C. capitata. S. cameroni was recorded before on phytophagous and saprophagous dipterous species attacking onion bulbs in Romania. D. wohlfartia was recorded before on Eumerus amoenus in Egypt.
