Abstract : Studies were carried out on the following mango cvs: Fazli, Langra, Gopalbhog, Mohanbhog, Misribhog, Koapahari, Deshari, Ashwina and Ranibhog. Data are tabulated on fruit weight; weight of edible and non-edible portions; percentage weight of peel, pulp and stone; ratio of non-edible to edible portion; ratio of peel to pulp; ratio of stone to pulp; skin colour; flavour and texture of pulp; and fibre content of the stone. Fruits of the cv. Fazli were the largest, contained the highest percentage of pulp, and showed the optimum ratios of peel to pulp and non-edible to edible portions.
