Abstract : A field experiment was conducted during 1991-93 to study the growth performance of 12 different mango hybrids (Amrapali, Mallika, Prabhashankar, Mahmud Bahar, Alfazli, Sunder Langra, Neelgoa, Neeluddin, Neeleshan, Ratna, Arka Punit and Arka Anmol) and one control cultivar (Langra) in the agroclimatic conditions of Sabour, Bhagalpur, Bihar, India. Out of the 13 cultivars evaluated, the maximum height was recorded in Alfazli, followed by Neeluddin and minimum in Arka Anmol. The maximum and minimum girths were observed in Mahmud Bahar and Amrapali, respectively. In all cultivars including the control, more flushes emerged during February-March followed by October-November, and the maximum number of leaves was recorded in Amrapali closely followed by Mallika and Prabhashankar.
