Abstract : The effects of 0.5 and 1% K2HPO4, 3 and 5% potassium nitrate, 2% urea, 1000 and 2000 paclobutrazol, 50 and 100 TIBA and 1000 ppm paclobutrazol in combination with 100 ppm TIBA, 1% K2HPO4 and 5% potassium nitrate on the flowering of unpruned mango cv. Baneshan trees were determined in a field experiment conducted in Andhra Pradesh, India during 1999-2000. Panicle emergence and flowering time were earliest with the application of 0.5% K2HPO4 during both years. The percentage of fruited shoots were highest with the application of 1% K2HPO4 (88.67%) and application of 1000 ppm paclobutrazol + 5% KNO3 (87.67%) in 1999-2000 and 2000-01, respectively. The percentage of non-fruited shoots was lowest with the application of 1000 ppm paclobutrazol + 5% KNO3 during both years.
