Abstract : Jinhuang mango cultivar was introduced from Taiwan. Trials proved it is a promising mango cultivar. The trees are healthy, blossoming in late March and the fruits mature in mid-late July. Fruits are very large, weighing 900 g on average, but reaching 1150 g, having a white wax-like bloom on the skin. Flesh is orange yellow, tender, smooth, juicy, less fibrous, containing a soluble solids content of 15.5-17.0% and an edible rate of 79%, and is of very good eating quality. The fruit shelf life is longer. The trees are productive, having a higher resistance to bitter rot disease. It is suitable to be grown in the area with a mean yearly temperature of 21.0°C, yearly rainfall of 100-1800 mm and soil pH value of 5.5-6.5.
